14 Reasons Why YOU Deserve To Be Loved!
With it being Valentine's Day I would like to take this opportunity to remind you how amazing you are! You do not need a guy to tell you that, just believe it for yourself. Loving yourself and loving all that you are sometimes takes time, but once you learn how to I promise it is the best thing that you will ever do. I do not want you to focus on the fact that you are single, but focus on the fact that you chose not to settle with just anyone! You want the best for yourself and your children and the best is what God shall bless with you, just wait on it!
1. YOU are worth it!
It is time for you to realise that you are worth more than you will ever know! God knew all about you and He designed you knowing that you would be one of His greatest creations. You were created to be someone's first choice, not their second choice. You are the head and NEVER the tail. Please always, always know your worth!
"If you listen to these commands of the LORD your God that I am giving you today, and if you carefully obey them, the LORD will make you the head and not the tail, and you will always be on top and never at the bottom."
- Deuteronomy 28:13
2. YOU are beautiful (inside and out!)
Nobody needs to tell you that you are beautiful. Believe that you are; look in the mirror daily and tell yourself, "I am beautiful!" Don't spend time tearing yourself apart or wishing you looked like someone else when you are the epitome of beauty. You don't need to look like anyone other than yourself. Celebrate your unique beauty, learn to appreciate your smile and try to find peace with your body. I know as women we all may have our body hangups, but work on the things you can change and try to accept the things that you cannot change. God created you in such a way for a reason, it's time to own it Mama!

3. YOU are strong!
With all that you have encountered, you really are a strong woman. You use the bricks that have been thrown at you and you have built a house! Many would have crumbled under the pressure, but time and time again you have proved how resilient you are and you have continued to rise knowing that with God beside you, NOBODY can tear you down. Your children look up to you and admire your strength, daily you show them how much of a fantastic mother you are. I am sure that they are very proud to refer to you as their Mama!

4. YOU are thoughtful!
You have such a big heart! You always go out of your way for your family and others because you know what it feels like to be let down, so you try as much as possible to avoid them having to experience that. You put others first and this means that sometimes your needs and wants get pushed to the side. Your children may be too little to repay you now, but I guarantee that one day when they are old enough they will repay you with so much love and kindness.
"Start children off on the way they should go, and even when they are old they will not turn from it."

5. YOU are powerful!
You have all the tools within you to be anything that you want to be; the choice is yours. God has blessed you with a special gift and it is up to you to utilise it in the right way. Someone, somewhere is waiting for your gift to be a blessing to them. You could be the answer to their prayers and your gift could go on to reach millions. Do you know how powerful you really are?! God did not create you to be mediocre, He created you to be extraordinary!
"In his grace, God has given us different gifts for doing certain things well. So if God has given you the ability to prophesy, speak out with as much faith as God has given you. If your gift is serving others, serve them well. If you are a teacher, teach well. If your gift is to encourage others, be encouraging. If it is giving, give generously. If God has given you leadership ability, take the responsibility seriously. And if you have a gift for showing kindness to others, do it gladly."

6. YOU are special!
Did you know that before you were even a tiny speckle God knew all about you?! You have a unique purpose in this life and God decided from the very beginning that nobody in this world, but you could fulfil that particular purpose. Others can try to do what God has called you to do, but it won't work because He has called YOU to do it.
"I knew you before I formed you in your mother's womb. Before you were born I set you apart and appointed you as my prophet to the nations."
- Jeremiah 1:5
7. YOU deserve to be respected!
Anyone who comes into contact with you should always treat you with respect. I strongly encourage you to walk away from anyone/anything that seeks to destroy your peace and causes you to feel miserable. Remind yourself of your value and move on to bigger and better things.

8. YOU deserve to be pursued!
The man that God has set apart for you will know you are for him when he sees you. There will be no games or indecisiveness, but rather a serious, mature approach to wanting to get to know you. He will understand that you are special and that he will have to step his game up in order to get your attention. He will make sure that God has instructed him to act and then he will take it from there. You are a catch, you deserve to be pursued by your future spouse.

9. YOU are diligent!
You are persistent and always working extremely hard to reach your goals. You try to not allow any distractions to throw you off course because you know what you have set out to accomplish. You take pride in your work and you never give up. This does not just go for work, but for your family too. You like to ensure that everything in your home is as it should be and if not you put in the necessary work to make sure that normality is restored.

10. YOU are brave!
You have faced the darkest moments in your life alone, but yet you still carried on. Sometimes you had nobody, but God to turn to and you still told Him all that was on your mind. You often worried about what was going to happen next and God would tell you to "be still and trust in Him." When you did just that you realised that things started to get better because all along you never really were alone, God was walking beside you, holding your hand. You are braver than you may think.
"So be strong and courageous! Do not be afraid and do not panic before them. For the LORD your God will personally go ahead of you. He will neither fail you nor abandon you."
- Deuteronomy 3:16
11. YOU have an infectious personality!
You have the kind of personality that leaves people with joy inside them; they lng to be around you because you are so full of happiness. You offer them comfort when they need it and you are always there to lend an encouraging word or two. A lot of people admire and look up to you because you demonstrate love and kindness - even to those who may not deserve it.
"Your love has given me much joy and comfort, my brother, for your kindness has often refreshed the hearts of God's people."

12. YOU are a Queen!
Your future spouse shall treat you as such. He will be the one to show you off to everyone and praise the Lord daily for being blessed with such a magnificent woman of God. He will love you and your children with all of his heart and he will seek to treat you all with the amount of love and respect that you all deserve. He will see your children as his children also and they shall be treated like royalty too.
"For husbands, this means love your wives, just as Christ loved the church. He gave up his life for her."

13. YOU are full of life and hope!
You do not look like your past mistakes or your past. You look like your future! Your future is bright and full of hope, laughter and endless blessings. You have so much amazing things to look forward to because God is not finished with you just yet. You are going to be a living testimony to thousands of other mums in your situation one day and because you are an overcomer, your story shall help them to overcome too. Be proud of yourself, you have achieved so much. You deserve the blessings that are coming your way, you deserve to be happy!

14. YOU are enough!
As you are, with all that you have encountered, through the tests and trials. You are simply enough. You do not have to be anything other than who you truly are. You are enough and you will always be enough.
"But you are not like that, for you are a chosen people. You are royal priests, a holy nation, God's very own possession. As a result, you can show others the goodness of God, for he called you out of the darkness into his wonderful light."
